At Zappnote, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how Zappnote interacts with your data when you use our desktop application and website.
License Verification: Zappnote is licensed natively via the Microsoft Store. License checks and trial validations are performed locally and securely on your device using official Windows Store APIs. No licensing details, product keys, or personal identifiers are transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Local Notes & Media: All your notes, screenshots, configurations, and OCR history are stored 100% locally on your machine in an encrypted SQLite database. We do not have access to your database, and your data never leaves your device unless you manually configure the database to sync with your private cloud storage provider (such as OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive).
We distribute Zappnote exclusively through the Microsoft Store. All purchases, licensing checkouts, and trial entitlements are managed securely by Microsoft. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing addresses, or transactional records.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or distribution methods. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
